We create and curate uplifting human-interest stories that have the power to intrigue, inspire, influence, inform, or simply make you feel happy.

Work experience:

• You have at least 1-3 years of relevant work experience in a similar digital media space.
• You have experience identifying and interviewing story-worthy individuals, organizations, or communities.
• You are well-versed and comfortable with both the long and short forms of storytelling.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Journalism or Mass Communication or equivalent is preferred.

Work profile: 

You would create or curate interesting, share-worthy stories per our mission and editorial guidelines.

• Research and pitch original stories to the editorial team that deserves to be celebrated.
• Scout for positive, uplifting stories/news on the web to curate and thoughtfully repackage it with brevity, making it shareable.
• Discover exciting, relatable content ideas on platforms like Quora, Reddit, Google Trends, Linkedin, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, or similar platforms that have the potential to grab readers’ attention and go viral.
• Craft compelling stories to strike a chord, delight, and inspire the reader.
• Take ownership of the stories you report with their authenticity.
• Be honest and transparent in crediting original story sources wherever it is due.

Compensation:

We offer two types of compensation; details will be explained once you get shortlisted. You will have the option to choose the one that suits you the best.

• Option 1: Fixed pay per story
• Option 2: Fixed pay per story + Partner community benefits

Good if:

• You are empathetic, a conversation starter, and a good listener.
• You are active on social media platforms, mainly Linkedin, Facebook, Quora, Reddit, Twitter, etc.
• You can craft crisp and grammatically correct sentences.
• You are familiar with the basic SEO concepts to create optimized content.
• Working knowledge of WordPress.
