We are in the gloomiest of all times as the COVID-19 pandemic has engulfed the nation for the second time with more intensity putting over a billion lives at stake, and taking away thousands each day. The situation has led to lockdown across several states affecting the financial situation of people once again.
In this sensitive state, Sandeep Sharma, a Halwai (owner of a sweet shop) from Delhi’s Sitaram Bazaar has become a bright angel in the darkness.
Sandeep told a customer that he’s willing to bear any cost in order to serve free food to those in need.
The incident came to light after Journalist Praveen Swami tweeted out a bill of Sandeep which showed all the total estimation of the food he is planning to give to around 250 COVID patients who are poor. This very bill was also accompanied by a heartfelt note in Hindi at the end which is exactly melting hearts.

@TedhiLakeer I would like to sponsor one day’s worth of expenses for this gentleman. Would be very grateful if you could facilitate this. Thanks.
