As India struggles to survive the pandemic, the Chintpurni temple in Himachal Pradesh has started a noble initiative of accepting medical equipment as donations to the deity to aid the people suffering from COVID-19.
The Chintpurni temple trust has launched an online service for the purpose of lending a helping hand to the Himachal Pradesh Government. They have provided a link on their official website on which devotees who wish to donate any medical equipment can register after which a trust official will contact them. Besides, one can also make a donation at the Chintpurni House.
The trust has specified the types of medical equipment that people can donate which include pulse oximeters, oxygen concentrators, PPE kits, masks, oxygen cylinders, and medicines.
No cash is accepted for the purpose but one has to donate in-kind (medical equipments).
