While several children in India are still facing problems getting nutritional and health needs, Delhi Government takes a step further to solve it.
The Delhi government began the ‘Anganwadi on Wheels’ initiative on Monday, October 11, to meet children’s nutritional and health needs.
According to an official release, the programs are for children who cannot attend Anganwadi centers and offer them nutritious food and educational and health-related perks.
According to NDTV, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia started the innovative project on International Girl Child Day. “The Delhi Government’s ‘Anganwadi on Wheels’ program aspires to serve even those children who are unable to access an Anganwadi for any cause,” Sisodia added.
“Through all these buses, children aged 0 to 6 years will be eligible to receive education and care from certified Anganwadi staff. They will also be fed nutritious food,” he stated. He also emphasized that the Kejriwal government is focused on delivering improved amenities to every child in the country’s capital.

“CM’s objective is for every child in the city to have access to nutritious meals and high-quality education,” the deputy CM explained.
The purpose is to enhance the lives of even the most marginalized and ignored members of society through government programs.
“Working for the development of any child is vital, but working for the same is essential,” he added. Rajendra Pal Gautam, the Delhi Minister for Women and Child Development, stated the government is prioritizing women’s and children’s advancement.
The agency has created a unified center concept for the care and protection of girls and women, she added.
Such initiatives in our country play a vital role in developing children and providing them with better lives.
