Rain has been lashing over Chennai, and more clouds may hit in a few days. This, in turn, has triggered a flood situation in the city. But thanks to the frontline workers, everything has been running smoothly, and lives have been saved.
To acknowledge these unsung heroes, Netizens took to Twitter to share their brave stories, working tirelessly in the floods. Even the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, M K Stalin, acknowledged their contributions in a tweet.
Here are a few instances that show their exemplary diligence.

“Been heading back home in the heavy rain, then I saw a sanitation worker woman who’s been doing her work despite the heavy rain. I know it’s their job, but still working during these kinda times is really respectable and appreciable. Place: Royapettah, Chennai,” he mentioned in the caption.
