Humans are experts at making excuses and cribbing about things that they couldn’t get done. There is hardly anyone around who seems to be satisfied with what they have. In all our wants, we forget the things we are blessed with. We take things for granted whereas even our ability to breathe and have functional limbs is a boon.
But God has his own ways of showing us why we should be thankful to him. He also teaches us morals that we buried deep in our school textbooks. This time he chose an amputee farmer as his messenger.
With the will to find a way, this differently-abled farmer was seen working on his farm despite losing his limb.
The anonymous, undated video of the farmer surfaced in social media when Indian Forest Service Officer, Madhu Mitha shared it on her twitter handle on September 17.
No words can do justice to this video.
Thank you. pic.twitter.com/Qqj6P4kXtz— Madhu Mitha, IFS (@IfsMadhu) September 17, 2020
In the video, the man is seen submerged in water till his ankle in the field with a shovel that he uses to dig the field. He manages to do it all by himself with the help of a mere crutch.
The farmer’s perseverance is really inspiring.
Ever since it has been posted, the video has gone viral. It has been viewed 404.5K times till now, retweeted 4.3K times, with 457 quote tweets and 22.6K likes.
Netizens lauded the farmer for his hard work and dedication.
Salute.. falling short of words .
If anyone has any contact details, pls share.

Someone even asked Sonu Sood to find the whereabouts of the farmer and help him.
@SonuSood pls if you can look into it and help him.
I know you must be getting 10000’s of these requests but we ask for help where we expected to receive it.
I would also like to contribute in it but I don’t know how.— yourskindoctor🩺 (@yourskindoctor_) September 18, 2020
We salute his resoluteness.
