David Cowan proposed her girlfriend Saris Marie Gracia with flowers, balloons and a banner, which read, “Will you be my sunshine to homecoming?” In case you are wondering what’s so special about them, both have Down syndrome but that didn’t come between their love.
The 35-second video clip was shared by Gracia and it went viral in no time. Watch the video here-
According to a Fox 13 report, Cowan wanted to propose his girlfriend during the homecoming of the high school football game, where Gracia was present with her cheerleading squad. Both have known each other since they were 3 years old, while they were taking speech therapy in Orlando.
The video has been shared on Facebook and Youtube and has garnered 3.7-million views. One user wrote “The genuine joy that comes from them is contagious! I hope they have a great time!”
