Blizzard Entertainment is one of the leading game producers with some of the most sought-after contemporary games like Call of Duty, Overwatch, and Diablo. The new features would certainly make you go after an overwatch hack. It is not going to be an upgrade of the existing game but an exclusive game in itself.

Blizzard Entertainment made some major announcements regarding Diablo, World of Warcraft, and Overwatch 2. But, the director of the gaming giant claimed that the game is still in its development stage and is far from getting launched any time soon. The news says that the new multiplayer mode and heroes that would be a part of Overwatch 2 would also be upgraded to the existing game.

It seems that Blizzard intends to launch Overwatch 2 as an extended version and that both the games would co-exist with some overlapping features. One thing is for sure that both of them would have the player versus player mode.

So, what would be the primary difference between the two games? Overwatch 2 is designed for lone wolves, i.e., it will focus more on player versus environment mode. After the success of Overwatch, the developers will now develop the game’s storyline and improved graphics, enhancing the environment for single player’s engagement.

Overwatch 2’s player v. player mode

The sequel of Overwatch would deviate a little from its predecessor. The size of the team in player v. player would go down to five players instead of the regular six players per team. The composition rendering will allow only one tank. The player can have two DPS and two from the support team.

Overwatch map is considered to be fast-paced by the game director Aaron Keller. He thinks the 5v.5 player is the appropriate model in which the game must be played for a wholesome experience. The intention of decreasing the number of players on the battleground is to make the fight easily comprehendible and make other’s actions traceable. Now, players would just have to keep track of the other nine players. It directly influences their decision-making pattern. Simplification can be exciting as well.

Tanks in Overwatch 2

Game’s ex-director Jeff Kaplan revealed that Overwatch’s team desires to make the tanks more aggressive. The tanks are usually a protective wall rather than a weapon. Hero designer of Overwatch, Geoff Goodman, wants to present them as a hybrid of protection and aggression.

Blizzard is thinking to change the name of the tanks to brawlers any time soon, as reported by IGN. The move is going to change the aspect of the gameplay a lot for all the players. Just imagine, you logged in to the Overwatch, and you landed as a tank in your team. You will spend your time fiddling with the left trigger working as a shield of the team because you are a tank and do not have much to do. So, making tanks hybrid is a more inclusive act.

Reinhardt can use one fire strike per cooldown. With enhanced features, he can have two fire strikes per cooldown now. He can have more control during charge ability. He can cancel that anytime he wants.

Overwatch 2 in PvE

The game’s player v. environment gameplay will be divided into two missions, i.e., Story missions and Hero missions. Old Overwatch heroes will fight the omnic army of robotic players who fought in the uprising. These can be played repeatedly.

The player can collect items dropped from the dead. They can have an HP generator, a grenade that corrodes whatever comes within its blast range, and a barrier shield.

Hero Missions are for those players who want to play the game with the best abilities that their heroes have to offer. By completing hero missions, players can unlock and upgrade the abilities of their heroes. However, these features can’t be turned on in player v player mode.

New multiplayer heroes

Overwatch 2 is ready to introduce two new players to the franchise; Sojourn is one of them. Sojourn is Canadian and an aggressive hero that focuses on maximum destruction of the enemy. She comes packed with an ability to take high leaps and jumps. Michael Chu is the storyline creator for Overwatch. The PlayStation blog reported him saying that Sojourn is an integral figure in the Overwatch series, and her character is still in the development stage.

Overwatch 2’s tug of war

The game will have a new map called Push. As the name suggests, it will operate like a tug of war. A robot can push the protective barrier to make it hard for the opponent’s team to survive outside the barrier. Each team tries to get control of the robot and push it against their opponent to win.

Blizzard has created much hype with these features through its trailers. Players can only speculate that the sequel has crossed the development threshold, and soon it will be ready for launch.
