Hard work and determination can do wonders and this has been proved by Pratham Prakash Gupta, who has got himself a life-changing job.
For Gupta, an M Tech final year student at the Indian Institute of Information and Technology, Allahabad received a job offer from Google with an annual package of Rs 1.4 crore, which equates to roughly Rs 11.6 lakh per month. He has been hired as a Software Engineer in Google’s London branch.
His joining is planned for 2022 itself yet a specific timeline hasn’t been revealed.
“Over the past few months, I was fortunate enough to obtain amazing offers from some of the world’s biggest organizations. I am happy to share with you all that I have accepted an offer from Google and I will soon be joining them at their London office as a Software Engineer after completing my graduation this year. Super excited for this new phase of my career!” Gupta wrote on LinkedIn.

In addition to Gupta, several other students from the institute’s M Tech batch have secured packages worth crores at top tech companies.
Earlier in April, Abhijeet Dwivedi, a BTech (Information Technology) final year student at IIIT, Lucknow, was offered a package of Rs 1.2 crore at Amazon.
Dwiwedi appeared for the coding test conducted by Amazon last year in December. After qualifying, he appeared for three rounds of interviews at the international level in April. He received the final call from Amazon Germany on the sane month.
