Bill Gates is one of the most well-known business giants we have today. He became a millionaire through one of the best strokes of luck in human history. He revolutionized the way people interacted with computers. Without him, everyone would have limited knowledge of computers. In 2019, he was still the second richest person in the world. He had 93 billion dollars in net worth, even though he is not as involved as when he was the CEO of Microsoft, one of his brainchildren.

Aside from revolutionizing the way we see, understand, and use computers, he has done society a great service by taking on one of the greatest threats humanity has had to face: climate change. He is one of the people pressing everyone else about how the pandemic we are currently facing right now is a direct consequence of climate change. He warns us that pandemics will happen again within our lifetimes if we do not act fast.

Bill Gates

Fortunately, those who have the resources are doing something about it. Bill and his wife, Melinda, are both co-founders of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. They established the foundation to start their philanthropic projects for the benefit of humanity.

He has furthered causes like how we think other billionaires should. He has helped more than he should when it comes to software, services, healthcare, and the environment. Because of the power he wields due to his immense wealth, he can move about and lead us to a better life.

Bill Gates – the book

In his newly released bookHow to Avoid a Climate Disaster: The Solutions We Have And The Breakthroughs We Need,” Bill Gates briefly describes the effort we need to exert to survive beyond 2050. He pegs 2050 as the time when climate change will be ultimately irreversible and in full effect. He has been in talks these past few years repeating and repeating the idea that we should prepare for an upcoming and pandemic. He said it was bound to happen as a result of climate change.

Gates has been putting up multiple foundations, task forces, and corporations to respond to these incoming problems. On a leased red carpet, Bill Gates presents these projects on a pedestal to attract investors and other caring people. The goal is always to prevent total catastrophe by saving the environment. The goals are inherently team-based and cannot be done alone.

Bill Gates – the unforeseen future

Based on studies, whenever the effects of climate change hit, it is the poor that suffer. Nothing else matters if we do not act as fast as we should. We are now in a state of the world that things will never come back to normalcy. Rather than spending his money during the latter stages of his life towards purely profit-making ventures, he is currently helping and assisting the aging population. He has also invested in many advancements that have helped researchers keep track of the various planted data-gathering instruments.

While being a successful businessman, Bill Gates is also a big fan of helping shape the future world families would grow old in. He has put aside and invested millions of dollars in favor of getting monitoring systems in nature. He is both the idealist and the realist. Even if we cannot see past a veil on what the world will be like for us, with his small investments, we will eventually be able to predict crises in the short, medium, and long-term and eventually do something about it.

Awareness and Positive Change

Bill Gates is one of the most prolific philanthropists ever known. He already had enough money to live comfortably but chose to serve humanity even further. Bill Gates will be someone who is considered “woke.” Bill Gates is aware of the injustice climate change presents and has many plans to do something about it. He has even shown support for the raising of taxes for the rich.

He believes that a system that allows billionaires to happen is unfair. The wealth gap is easily abused by those already in the top percentage of the country. Progress will not happen if there are no progressives. Bill Gates is definitely an aware and positive force to be reckoned with as an advocate of positive change.
