We can bet that you have heard something like this before. In a one-of-a-kind incident a traveler gave a ride to a street dog on her scooty across the streets of Goa. And the dog wasn’t put on the vehicle voluntarily but it just hoped in like a hitchhiker! Pawsome right?
A video of the hitchhiker dog riding on the scooty of a female traveler has been making rounds on the internet. It was posted by a woman named Mayura Gautham on her instagram handle @talestothreads. She was visiting Goa and had rented out a two-wheeler in order to explore the place.
It was there where she saw a dog on the street which followed her despite being shooed away by her friends. All of a sudden, it hoped into the vehicle and made itself comfortable. Mayura knew immediately that the fur baby wanted to have some fun and took him on a jolly good ride.
The video shows various snippets of happy moments that the traveler and the doggo spent – bonding on her two-wheeler. It was an instant hit on social media.

How The Traveler Met The Hitchhiker
Mayura couldn’t find out his name but took good care of him and fed him. He seemed like a frequent hitchhiker who loved the free rides he grabbed with his cuteness. So, she didn’t feel like adopting him and taking him away from the place.
“I checked his whereabouts and friends mentioned that he lives by the bakery. We don’t know his name, but would always prefer to refer him as the cute doggo or happy guy. We noticed that he is quite happy in the area, well fed and definitely has no issues or threat. He would come by the house at night and we would feed him,” she told.
“He definitely enjoys living there, especially for those short rides with strangers. He has mastered putting on his puppy dog face which gives him free rides. There is no chance I would have adopted him and got him to the city when he has found his home there,” the traveler added.
