Often we as humans fail to notice the bare minimum gifts we are bestowed with. It is indeed a blessing to have a sound body and limbs.
But do possibilities end with a disability? Absolutely no.
Kunal Shrestha, a 9-year-old boy, who was born with a single limb has proved the same. Despite his physical disability, the Class four student from Manipur has proved that hard work and dedication can conquer all the challenges of life.
The wonder boy plays football on one leg and it is his favorite sport!
Kunal’s mother is the sole reason how he gained the confidence to play as she asked him to never feel different from his friends. And guess what, he even rides a bicycle today.
“My son was born without a limb. I vowed to never let him feel different from his peers. He never exhibited low esteem. He learned to ride a bicycle on his own“, Kunal’s mother told ANI.

“The birth of my son was an emotional rollercoaster ride. I was excited that I had become a mother, but also overwhelmed to know that my child was born without a leg. I told myself special people are blessed with special kids and vowed to never let him feel different from his peers’, she added.
The inspiring kid developed his love for the game by kicking ‘Nobaps’ (Chinese Grapefruit/Pomelo) in the Kanglatombi fields. His parents revealed that whenever Kunal’s cousins would watch cartoons, he would flip the channels to sports.
