This 27-year-old man is no less than a hero and has earned praise online for saving a cute dog when his leash was caught in between elevator doors.
Recently in Texas, surveillance footage showed that a woman with a ginger Pomeranian is getting inside the lift and the furbaby was hesitant to step before the door closes. Thanks to this 27-year-old man, he jumped in at the right time to protect the dog by detaching the leash from the collar and saving it from a fatal accident.
Johnny Mathis, who saved the pooch took it to Twitter and mentioned the whole incident in a post. He wrote, “Y’all I’m shaking!!! I just saved a dog on a leash that didn’t make it onto the elevator with the owner before the door closed! I just happened to turn around as the door closed and it started to lift off the ground I got the leash off in time.”
