Standing tall and firm, guarding the country’s troubled frontiers- Courage, Valour, and Commitment stand synonymous with Indian Army. To show gratitude, a man from Maharashtra’s Buldhana is offering hair cutting and shaving services to soldiers and his act of kindness doesn’t cost money.

A barber by profession, Uddhav Gadekar runs a small salon called Friends Gents Parlour and he uses a special razor made of silver worth Rs 15,000 to extend his honor to the armed forces. Even though the shop has a limited space but to fit more people, he has a big heart, which keeps him busy all day.

His humble nature of helping people in need doesn’t stop here, he also offers free services to homeless and blind people, who come to his shop.

I will do whatever I can to pay tribute to soldiers who leave their families and go to the border for the country, said Uddhav Gadekar to ANI.

A simple gesture of kindness is what the world is missing today and people like Gadekar fill that gap by making the country a better place to live in.
