A viral clip on Twitter is winning everyone’s heart and leaving some teary-eyed for all good reasons. Posted on Monday by Jammu and Kashmir Police in their social media account, the heart-warming video shows how a CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) jawan is feeding a differently-abled Kashmiri child in J&K with love and care.

The video garnered 59.4k views and was retweeted 1.4k times till the time of publishing this post. The jawan identified as Havaldar Iqbal Singh of 49 Battalion is seen feeding the little one from his own lunch, who is sitting on the stairs in front of a shop. Singh was on law and order duty in Nawakadal, downtown of Srinagar.

In the Pulwama attack that shook the nation on February 14, this year leaving 40 jawans dead, Singh was one of the drivers in the CRPF convoy that was attacked by a Jaish-e-Mohammad suicide bomber.

Responding to the video who sent warmth and a message of care to all who viewed it or came across it, one of the many comments read- “Proud of our policeman. He deserves applause and loads of blessings. This restores faith in humanity.”

The video also caught the attention of the former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir Mehbooba Mufti, who retweeted it along with a caption that read, “Armed forces operating in Kashmir are often tarred with the same brush. But that generalization can sometimes be grossly unfair. Salute this man’s sense of compassion & humanity.”
