1. Atta Cake Recipe- 2×1” of Pure Delicacy!

This atta cake recipe is a delicious homemade wheat flour recipe that can meet all choices or requirements varying from person to person. You can serve it like a dry cake, or ice it with frosting. It tastes amazing whether you add an egg or not! (slightly more flavourful with the egg though). So here’s how it works:

  • Grease a square baking pan with salt-free butter while you simultaneously preheat the oven at 3500F or 1800 C for 20 minutes.
  • Take a mixing bowl and add 120g or 1 cup of Chakki Fresh Atta and ½ a teaspoon of baking soda to add the fluff to this atta cake recipe.
  • Mix the whole wheat flour atta and baking soda together, add ½ a cup of sweetened and condensed milk, add ½ a teaspoon of vanilla essence and set it aside.
  • Take another pan and add 6 tablespoons of butter with ½  a cup of water and 4 tablespoons of sugar (or more based on your sweet preferences) and stir in medium flame. Stir the mixture until it attains consistency.
  • Add the butter batter to your wheat flour recipe and now mix all the ingredients with a wired whisk.
  • Place the batter in the baking pan and bake for 45 minutes. There you go, it is ready to eat!

2. Aloo Ka Paratha Recipe- a Delicious Dish with the Goodness of Whole Wheat

Amongst the most frequently cooked and thoroughly relished wheat flour recipes is the Aloo Ka Paratha recipe- most of our favourite dishes since childhood! Want to learn how to make this delicious Indian atta bread delicacy?

  • Add 3-4 big potatoes to a pressure cooker with water and cook them up to 4 whistles.
  • Peel these potatoes and put them in a mixing bowl. Either use a masher to mash these potatoes or use your good old hands once the potatoes are cooled off. Ensure that you don’t leave any lumps.
  • Add ½ teaspoon garam masala powder, ½ teaspoon red chilli powder. ½ teaspoon mango powder or amchur powder 1-2 finely chopped green chillies and salt as per your taste.
  • Mix them up well and set them aside while you work on the whole wheat paratha dough.
  • Take 2-3 cups of atta in a bowl, ½ a cup of water, ½ a teaspoon and ½ a tablespoon of ghee and mix them together until the mixture attains a tight consistency. Your whole wheat paratha dough is ready.
  • Now shape them into round balls, press them flat and fill in the potato stuffing. Wrap up the stuffing like a dumpling and then flatten it into the shape of a paratha.
  • Put it over the cooking pan and lightly brush some Rice Bran Health Oil and cook it until golden brown. You can serve these delicious Punjabi atta breads hot with a side bowl of curds and mango pickles for a tangy taste!

3. Whole Wheat Pizza Dough- Delicious Homemade Pizza that Packs a Healthy Punch

Generally made with Refined all-purpose flour (Maida), here is a healthy alternative to satiate your pizza cravings! Here’s the whole wheat flour recipe for your healthy pizza:

  • Take 1 teaspoon of instant yeast in a mixing bowl, ½ teaspoon sugar, 1 cup of water and mix the ingredients well.
  • Add 3 cups of wheat flour and 1 teaspoon of salt. 3 teaspoons of healthy rice bran oil , 1 tablespoon lemon juice and knead for 8 minutes until the whole wheat pizza dough attains a tight consistency.
  • Sprinkle some water on the dough, cover it with a wet cloth and set aside for 45 min if the weather is hot  and approximately 1.5 – 2 hours in cold weather.
  • Keep the whole wheat pizza dough in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
  • Your whole wheat pizza dough is ready to be cooked.

4. Atta Dosa- South Indian Express!

Last but never least- atta dosha, a whole wheat flour recipe that will prove to be your knight in shining armour when you are horribly late for work and need to cook up a healthy yet delicious meal for breakfast!

  • Take 1 cup wheat flour and ¼ cup rice flour in a mixing bowl and add ¼ cup chopped onions, 6-7 chopped curry leaves for flavour, ½ teaspoon ginger, ½ teaspoon cumin seeds and add salt as per your liking.
  • Add 2.5 cups of water, you can mediate the quantity while mixing the batter to ensure a smooth consistency.
  • Once you have mixed all the ingredients together, heat a non-stick pan (Tava) and apply a light film of rice bran oil.
  • Take a round-based serving spoon and put a spoonful of this whole wheat flour recipe on the pan as you swiftly swirl the batter in a circular motion.
  • Flip the dosha once it attains a golden brown colour and serve it hot with gunpowder (Podi) or coconut/onion chutney.
