Lockdown weight gain has been a headache for many for the last two years. Sitting for long hours at a desk, people gaining those extra ounces are fretting over fitting into their jeans. Then some are super busy in their daily course and get little or no time to pay attention to health.

An Indian firm acknowledged this very fact and has come up with a great idea to motivate its employees to take care of their health.

To make sure that nobody ignores their work-life balance, Financial Services Company Zerodha has come up with a creative ’12-month get-healthy goal’ program.

The CEO of Zerodha, Nithin Kamath tweeted about the impact of the pandemic and how their workforce was the “unhealthiest ever” due to various aspects such as lack of physical activity, work-life imbalance, and bad diet, among others. To improve the scenario, the company is willing to reward employees who make transformations in their life. The company is giving a 1-month salary bonus and a lucky draw worth Rs. 10 lakhs to encourage participation.

Kamath further wrote that, post the offer, there have been fantastic transformation stories. This program is enhancing performance which is why they are making this thing permanent.

He wishes that the initiative inspires other entrepreneurs.

Netizens are thrilled by the company’s idea. Many have lauded the company’s initiative, and others wondered if it would really work, and some actually sent it to their team.

Do forward this to your boss.
