In the first ever blind T-20 Asia Cup in Kochi, India defeats their arch rival, Pakistan, in the finals by 44 runs.
Pakistan was unbeaten through out their group matches. They even defeated India by 19 runs in one of the group matches. However Pakistan’s unbeaten feat came to an end in the finals.
Batting first, India scored 208 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in their stipulated 20 overs in the final. However in reply, Pakistan could score only 164 in their run chase.
Congratulations to team India. Hope the nation gives you the same love, respect and recognition as they do to our Indian team.
Previously, Indian blind cricket team also won the World Cup titles, first in the T20 format in 2012 defeating England in Bangalore and then the 2014 Blind Cricket World Cup against Pakistan in Cape Town.
