Apart from driving bikes, she is pursuing her education and also give tuitions to students at home. Her father is the sole breadwinner of the family, so she thought she can also help him.

Her father, Shabbir Khan says to Dawn, that he started giving training to his daughter in the village itself, so he is quite sure, Nadi can drive well.

Nadi’s younger sister has also developed an interest in boxing and the two sisters go on their own to attend boxing classes. In the video, Nadi says, “We continue to do training to keep ourselves fit. We have played on the national level and got a silver medal. We have also played in Young Lyari.

It was not easy for Shabbir to give certain liberty to his kids and raise them in a conservative society. He says, “I have been with Nida for around 5-6 years. I have sat on the roads and also went hungry for them night after night. So whenever there is any contest, I sit on the footpath.

There is a strong belief system which exists till now that women are weak and they can hardly do any work. Nadi feels it is always better to stay prepared for a difficult situation. In the times of hardship, it is easy to take care of family, if you are prepared to face it.

She also has a little brother and therefore, she says that she helps her father by earning more through tuitions. “Our father’s support is a lot for us. People think that we aren’t in his care. Girls can do a lot and there should be support of mom and dad,” she adds.

Her father says, “I have complete faith in my daughter, that wherever she goes, she will not be beaten up.
