Nobody on earth can ever love you more than your parents. They watch over you right from the moment you were just a zygote. It is their very concern that makes them scold us. We will never understand them fully unless we become parents ourselves. They stand by us in every step we take and we look towards them for hope.

The same was exhibited by a dad when his son failed at a job interview.

Recently, a person named Jack Altman posted a tweet in which he asked people to share that one instance when their parents played an important part in their development. Soon after his comment section was flooded with responses in which people narrated their stories.

Yet it was the response of an Indian Techie Sudharshan Karthik that has hit the headlines. In his tweet, Karthik talked about the instance when he was rejected by a company during a campus recruitment drive.

He explained that when he was not selected in his institute’s campus drive by TCS, he felt dejected and went back to his hostel room. Little did he know what waited in his email. The next morning, he found a letter from his dad in his inbox. This very letter changed his life forever and become the talk of the internet.

As the letter/email reads, Karthik’s dad wrote that there’s no normalization when it comes to recruitment. He also lauded his son for his excellent academic record and extended his support in every situation.

Karthik’s dad encouraged him to try for other recruitment drives. He also said that it’s okay to take a break or study further if he wants. And the greatest mantra of all that he wrote was that he asked Sudharshan to not compare himself with anyone else because everyone is unique.

Below is the tweet with the full letter.

Karthik’s tweet has become quite a rage on the internet.

Several users shared anecdotes with their parents and friends who failed, and there were others who called Sudharshan lucky to have such an understanding and supportive father.
